Saturday night Brady could hear our dogs barking and went out to see what they were doing. They were down behind the house in one of the trees and started to run up. When they got up here, we noticed that they had gotten into a porcupine and had quills all over in their mouths and noses. Molly didn't have it as bad as the other two and Duke had it the worst. We ended up taking out 28 quills from Molly, 64 from Lucy and Duke had 107 taken out. Duke, however, had to go to the vet to be knocked out to get the rest of them taken out. They were in the roof of his mouth and in his gums. It made me pretty sick to look at them. I am happy to say that they have all recovered and will hopefully think before chasing any animals again.

I don't know how you could take most of the quills out by yourself. Poor pups. Where were Cody and Sadee during all of this fun? I can't believe how many quills there were in each dog, and the fact that you counted them all.
Brady,
Poor Duke... that looks like it sucked.
p.s. this is Katherine and your using the wrong pliers.... just kidding. HA HA!
